Degrees and approving authority in India

Hi,

In India, a university must be approved by UGC and they should be a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities)
But only this is not enough. Apart from traditional courses, for any other professional and specialised courses, there is a separate body whose approval is mandatory. Any institute or university cannot offer any course unless it is approved by respective councils. Please see the list below
